Disco arrived at 13 40, weighing in at 320g.
She has 2 blue eyes and likely a mild woolly coat.
Temperament
3.5 weeks: Disco is a climber. There's no hesitation when large obstacles are in her way and she's the first to discover the way to escape from the pen (door left open as I was sorting their bedding).
Disco is confident but I am seeing a side of her where she needs a human nearby as a safety net. I am keeping a close eye on her and will continue building up her confidence so she doesn't rely on us to be nearby (she is very young and malleable). She enjoys climbing onto me, looking into my eyes and will fall asleep.
4.5 weeks: Her confidence is growing! I am observing her as I expose her to new stimuli and on the odd occasion I catch her looking for me. It is interesting as she isn't using her siblings for reassurance. I can see her forming a strong bond with her humans.
5 weeks: I am super proud of Delta and her siblings. We have been gradually building up to have a little drive around the block in the car- not 1 puppy was phased! They didn't make a sound and when we stopped, all but Disco was fast asleep. My next step is to get them in the stroller, in the house and then the garden. Then I can take them around the street and then it will be time for strolls around shops and various areas. I am also getting to accustomed to wearing a harness and get them used to the puppy car seat so we can practice taking them for solo car drives in the seat.
Prior to leaving, our puppies will:
Be microchipped.
Have a thorough puppy vet check up before leaving us.
Receive their first and second vaccine. (1st vaccination booked for the 3rd of March)
Be registered with the UKPA and owners receive a lovely certificate.
They will leave with an extensive puppy pack to support both the puppy and their family. An example is shown below.
