Delta arrived at 12 20, weighing in at 334g.
She has bi eyes and her coat looks like it will be similar to her mums, mostly plush and perhaps a fluffy tail. She definitely has a shorter coat than her sisters.
Temperament
3.5 weeks: Although she is young, I have noticed she likes to sleep on her own. This may be a good sign of a good confidence and independance. She is the smallest and I would say the toughest- she enjoys pinning down her sisters.
I am doing more activities for socialisation and I definitely see a lovely confidence showing through. When introducing something new, she will either walk straight into it and get involved or sit, observe and then get involved.
4.5 weeks: Delta has the temperament I want to see in my puppies- the right level of confidence and is able to think before acting. She has met the adult dogs one by one over a few days and today she played with 5 of them through the safety gate. It did not phase her how bouncy some were, how she got bopped on the head by Pepsi and the size of them was not an issue. She was wagging her tail and interacting beautifully with them.
5 weeks: I am super proud of Delta and her siblings. We have been gradually building up to have a little drive around the block in the car- not 1 puppy was phased! They didn't make a sound and when we stopped, all but Disco was fast asleep. My next step is to get them in the stroller, in the house and then the garden. Then I can take them around the street and then it will be time for strolls around shops and various areas. I am also getting to accustomed to wearing a harness and get them used to the puppy car seat so we can practice taking them for solo car drives in the seat.
Prior to leaving, our puppies will:
Be microchipped
Have a thorough puppy vet check up before leaving us.
Receive their first and second vaccine. (1st vaccination booked for the 3rd of March)
Be registered with the UKPA and owners receive a lovely certificate.
They will leave with an extensive puppy pack to support both the puppy and their family. An example is shown below.
