Raven and Hendrix's 8 babies are now settling well into their homes. Owners update me with photos, of their puppy's achievements and ask for advice where necessary. Our closest puppy lives around 20mins away and our furthest puppy lives in Northern Ireland. I could not be prouder of how well the puppies have adapted to the big change.
I have finished writing up my work for the practical part of my Dog Breeding diploma and currently waiting for the work to be assessed. I am nervous but I am hopeful as I submitted a lot to show the high level of care and socialisation with the puppies.
Raven is in great shape and recovering well from the pregnancy and the demands of feeding 8 puppies. She will soon shed her fur heavily as her body recovers. I plan to exercise her gently, allowing her ligaments and tendons to strengthen and recover. She will have a nice, long break before her next litter. A minimum of 12 to 18 months and I will pair her with Drake next time.
There is a strong chance that Willow is pregnant with Drake. We will find out around late April/early May. I am super excited for their babies. The puppies will be 100% US bloodlines, guaranteed husky masks, and be black/white or Drake's rare blue colour. I expect lovely, laidback temperaments due to Willow and Drake's natures.
