The last week has been jam packed and it has been awesome.

Alaska and Hendrix's girls could not be any better. They are taking everything in their stride. Only Disco has sought human reassurance on a few occasions. Being nearby has helped and her confidence is clearly growing. There isn't an obvious shy puppy, an overconfident puppy or any puppies crazy about food (yet!). I am extremely pleased with how well they are developing and we will soon be going in the car and then going on adventures in the stroller. I made myself sad when I realised we are halfway through their time with us 🙁

Delta and Dakota were the only 2 awake earlier and I opened the living room door to reveal 5 adult dogs behind the safety gate. They showed zero hesitation in interacting with them. The girls had the waggiest tails and interacted through the bars. Pepsi bopped them on the head as he really wanted to play. Raven was like a police officer and warned any from getting too excited with the pups. Astra and Willow really wanted to get in the room and play. Emma was her gentle, laidback self and she adores puppies.

Alaska continues to do a fabulous job raising her girls. She has started to play with them with lots of play bows and gentle nudging. She has started to move away when they try to feed and will offer to play instead. The girls enjoy their raw food but they aren't as food driven as my previous litters. It is very interesting how they seem to have their mums traits and temperaments.

We had a very special playdate on the 12th of February to celebrate Raven and Hendrix's litters' first birthday! It was so much fun and precious seeing the family reunited. Seeing Koa (was Bryn) was incredible. I used to call him Little Henders and now he is a little bigger than Hendrix and SO like him. It was easy to get them mixed up and when we just saw fluffy bums and tails- we had to guess who it was with their heights. I do love Raven's babies. Everything about them makes me proud.

We also got to meet Indie who is Drake's clone from his and Willow's litter. Seeing them all makes me wish I could keep a LOT of them.

I almost want to sing and dance about my next bit of news! It won't mean much to most people but to me this is amazing! Hendrix had a natural mating with a small female Pomsky! She is a tiny bit bigger than him and with how he struggled with Alaska... I never thought he would be able to have a natural mating after Raven. I had taken his ads down and decided to keep him as my best friend and my own stud. I had promised this breeder last year as his female is very small and Hendrix complements her beautifully. I can not believe how happy I am. I dare not get too excited but the female was PG tested and I know Hendrix has a very high count.. these puppies will be small (toy size) with gorgeous conformations, coats will vary and we may see a variety of colours.

What makes the mating that bit more special is that it was on Valentine's day and the 14th February was the due date of his first litter with Raven.

I will update the blog and his page when I get good news 🤞
