We are a busy family based in West Yorkshire, England. Our Husky and Pomskies are a big part of our family. We plan everything with them in mind, from day trips, Pomsky playdates and holidays.
Our dogs are first and foremost our family members. I will only breed from a dog that has a temperament that is worth passing on- taking into account everything from how they are with other people, other dogs, how they cope in new situations, their confidence, their trainability, how well they can settle on their own and many more aspects. Puppies inherit traits from their parents via epigenetics so I feel a huge responsibility in getting it right with my potential parent dogs. Once I deem their temperament worthy, then they will be fully health tested- Embark for breed and health, BVA eye test with gonioscopy and BVA hip and elbow scores. Pairings are made that complement each other. This means I look at temperament from both parents, their conformation and colour is last on the list. They will only breed if they pass all health tests.
We are very passionate about our dogs and every puppy we bring into this world. We want to give every puppy the very best chance in life therefore we start an early socialisation programme. We use a combination of The Puppy Culture Programme and skills learned in the iPet Network Level 3 on Dog Breeding, Litter Socialisation and Welfare Course. Puppies will develop key life skills during their critical socialisation period thus preparing them for life. I want to bring puppies into this world that have the very best chance of living an amazing life. I want them to be able to reach their full potential and become a special companion to someone, a furry family member and the kind of dog their family could not imagine life without.
The early socialisation includes handling from birth, ENS and ESI from day 3 to day 16, sound desensitisation, various textures under their paws, unstable surfaces, raised levels from the ground, grooming, toilet training, crate training, car socialisation, preparation for vet health checks, socialisation with other dogs and socialisation with a variety of humans (including my children). On top of all that, they understand the love humans can bring and they know humans provide security.
The activities in my socialisation programme will change and grow as I learn more. I strive to improve and make it better.
Puppy owners will have myself for guidance and support before they get their puppy. I am currently creating a decent sized booklet with a lot of information that will support them from the early days and well into adulthood.
Lifetime of support is guaranteed and I want to be able to meet up with the puppies that I helped to bring into this world. I am very proud of what I do and seeing them grow and develop is an incredible feeling.
I am council licenced, and qualified with a Level 3 certificate and Level 3 diploma in Dog Breeding, Litter socialisation and welfare.
There is a puppy contract in place to protect me, the owner and the puppy when each puppy is sold.
None of my puppies will end up in rescue centres- if the owner has a change in circumstances in the future, I will be there to support them and take the puppy back to assess and then find the perfect home.
Every puppy is covered with a 1 year Health Guarantee. You can view the guarantee
here.
Puppy prices will be between £2000 and £3000. This will depend on markings, body shape, size and how close they are to the ideal breed standard.
